Crystal Garman

Crystal began her counseling career in 2015 at ECU Pediatric Specialty Care, where she provided support to individuals navigating chronic medical conditions. In October 2021, she stepped out in faith and opened Carolina Counseling. What began as a small seed has grown into a thriving practice that continues to exceed anything she ever imagined God would build.

Crystal is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2006 and her Master of Social Work from The University of North Dakota in 2011.

Crystal is passionate about walking alongside individuals who are struggling and helping them shift both their mindset and circumstance. Her style is warm, direct, and deeply relational, meeting people exactly where they are. Her clinical focus includes depression, anxiety, family relational challenges, and adjustment disorders. She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Crystal is especially passionate about integrating a spiritual perspective into her work and reminding people of the
truth of who God says they are.

Outside the office, Crystal enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. She has been a member of Covenant Church for nearly two decades and serves in the children’s ministry. At the heart of her work is a commitment to point people back to God’s truth while walking with them through real‑life challenges.
