Anna King

Anna began her counseling career in 2020 at Pride in North Carolina, providing school-based counseling to students in middle and high school. Anna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina. She obtained a Bachelor of Social Work degree from The East Carolina University in 2019 and a Master of Social Work degree from East Carolina University in 2020.

Anna enjoys working with individuals between the ages of 11-22. Her scope of practice includes, but is not limited to, depression, anxiety, family relational problems, and adjustment disorders.

Anna has a laid back, non-judgmental and client-centered approach. Her goal for each client is to identify, evaluate and modify unhealthy thinking patterns to help them feel better and more like themselves again.

In her spare time, Anna enjoys reading, going to the beach and spending time with her friends and family.

Anna is credentialed with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum / United, Medcost and Aetna.  Anna can also use a system called Headway to see clients with Cigna.
